Pointed Colors & Pointed colors with white
A pointed cat is born solid white - and the coloring comes into the body over time. The body coloring is triggered by cold - thus once the kitten is born and the body begins to cool - the coloring process begins. It is typically a few years before the body reaches it full darkened color. If you live in a northern climate - your kitty will darken faster.
All pointed cats will have blue eyes.
A lynx point is the tabby gene expressed in a pointed cat. This causes light tabby striping to appear in the pointed cat.
